And cheap as chips to buy, I know someone that has had a few of them, buys one for about a grand, runs it till it dies then gets another, the ones with the petrol V6 are especially cheap (and rather lovely in an old school kind of way!).

Another three years and you can have the V8 too.

They are way nicer to be in than you would expect, very comfortable and very British. Probably one of the last great non-premium British cars.

And you can get brown manual estates. What more could you want?

And if you wait a few hours, you can pick them up a dime a dozen in britain, seeing as the pound looses value. Time to buy stuff in the UK I guess

We had a 75 Connoisseur (identical to the blue one at the top) with a 1.8litre K-Series engine.
It was nice enough but the legroom in the rear isn’t big and the knee room in the front was too narrow for me (especially if the cup holder was open).
Otherwise a nice car. The 2.5V6 is a good solid engine with good power to weight.
Obviously the 4.6V8 sounds fantastic but they didn’t come out until later in the 75s life.

Every time I see that picture it just makes me sad that they didn’t make it.
